Could just be that Thursday is their stocking day. Big five also stocks on Thursday's.

Wednesday and Thursday is indeed when Turner's usually gets their .22 in.

I asked the guy when his next shipment of .22LR was. He said next Monday.

I am only repeating what he told me. Whatever version I pick, he is wrong.

My LGS here had a shopping cart full of CCI mini mags behind the counter, but had Fed 40 gr auto match 325's on sale. Not a single CCI was sold in the 1/2 hour I was there, yet I always check for .22lr when I walk into Walmart. Some habits die hard I guess.

But I guess we have to wait until all the hoarders fill up their bunkers with the stuff before regular guys like us can get it on the cheap.
The horders are still buying up everything at 7am Sunday morning in SLO county Walmarts. And it's on Calguns or Craigslist by 8am that day.

Hoarders still making $ on .22lr? If so, I have some prime oceanfront real estate in AZ for sale, but it's gonna go quick. Pm me for details!

But in all seriousness, .22 is coming back, just quit paying out the ***** for it and things will be right with the world...for now

Last week I saw some for $75 (Remington 500 rds). Guy went down to $50. Still wouldn't pay that

But 300 minimags for $33 is not actually bad. In 2005 Cabelas was selling CCI Stingers for $35 for 500. Now minimags should be cheaper, yes? And it is only 300. But at the height of the panic the best deal I could find was $35 was 500 rds of Blazer. I made that my ceiling. For minimags I would expect to pay a little more

22 mags have always been pricey, my dumb*** had a choice between a marlin 22 mag bolt and a 1022 for my 13th birthday. I went with the marlin and regretted it every time i tried to feed it

$7.49+ tax for 100 CCI Mini Mags at my Walmart. There's a 3 box limit on .22lr but it's coming in much more often now. Now all of a sudden quality JHP 9mm and .40 are hard to find at my Walmart.

Lot's of .22 lr at the Ventura Gun Show today. $15/100 CCI Mini Mag at the two tables I checked. Two guys were pulling a red wagon trying to sell .22 no buyers when I saw them. I thought the show would have shut them down if they didn't didn't pay for a table.

I have yet to notice 22lr leaving.

But I don't supply my ammo cache by shopping at bass pro or walmart.
