Weapons Cut in Half

Yep.

They were built this way. No one actually cut a gun in half.

They come up on gunbroker and other places from time to time. Many are still considered "firearms" under US laws so, be prepared to do a 4473 and a CA DROS (if in CA) if you decide to get one.

He's not kidding. I tried to buy a cutaway 1911 from a gunsmith that I had taken a class from. Couldn't do it because the gun had been modified from its roster configuration.
