When I seen "weapons cut in half" my butt hole cringed at the horror show I was about to click into, to my elation I was pleasantly surprised to see fine examples of training art.

I had a bit of a puckering when I read the title too!

                Pleasantly surprised!

                    Yep.

They were built this way. No one actually cut a gun in half.

They come up on gunbroker and other places from time to time. Many are still considered "firearms" under US laws so, be prepared to do a 4473 and a CA DROS (if in CA) if you decide to get one.

The bottom two are CGI by a very talented individual. His name on DeviantArt is "Abiator."

                            That's crazy!

I can see it now that you mention, but thats damn near photo realistic.

I too was cringing at the thought of seeing some nice mil-surp stuff our idiotic government had decided to destroy instead of sell.

Cool pictures even if a couple are CGI.
