All of the guns I are modern semi autos with non-wood furniture ***Except*** my Remington 870 "riot gun" forgery. I may think all my plastic guns look "cool" but the only gun I own I consider "beautiful" is my 870.

Old fashion (1911, revolver, Marlin336, wood mossy 500,) but I'm trying to get hip and will be building my first AR soon.
I just don't like poly (plastic) anything.

Lighter is better. Best to leave all that cr@p off. Especially if you want to hit anything. A scope is it for me. Don't need a flashlite or laser for that.

Another vote for "practical" here. I buy/use what fits my needs and not what some you tube, mall ninja says I need.

Heh I actually remember stumbling across your Mossberg 590 vid a while back. Just curious, how did you scout out the area and determine that the directions you were shooting in were safe?

Definitely old fashioned.

Old guns have more history, and you can get them in their original variety. No BB or 10 rounders to mess with. Mostly 5 round bolt actions with plenty of kick.

I'm more practicool. The only wood stock guns I have are my grandfathers 1919 L.C. Smith side-by-side 12 gauge and my fathers lever action Winchester .22. Of course I will eventually inherit his 9mm HiPower, 30-06 Mauser, and a nice late 1800s Colt Revolver.

Right now I just have a plain AR with Magpul furniture a few polymer handguns and my two .22lr rifle conversions (FS2000 and an AUG).
