Turner's attitude !!

I can't even count how many gun stores I've been to. Trying to count how many salespeople I've dealt with is even worse. But I can say, without a doubt, that the best customer service I've ever had was from a guy at Turners Norwalk. Most of the people that work at Turner's do suck though.

Corona has been nothing short of fantastic for us. Alex is a younger guy that has always been a big help. I try to keep my money in the community by buying at mom and pop stores, but sometimes they just don't have what I want.

Horrible gun buying experience, more hoops and BS to jump through than any free man should ever have to tolerate. They treat you like a criminal IMO. I'm just relaying my experience based on 35 years of buying guns, I'm glad some of you have had better times there. I will never give them another dime of my business. In fact I'll talk as much crap as I can to prevent them from getting a dime from anyone else if I can.

I'm a frequent buyer and I like nice stuff, they have no clue how much money they've lost from me.

Hmmmm, I've used Turners Fountain Valley a couple times for PPT in the last month (sellers choice) and while they were slow....about an hour each time....the staff WERE friendly and helpful.

The Turners in Pasadena has been mostly good to me. The staff have been helpful, especially the Asian guy Dom. I buy my ammo there most of the time. I was planning on buying my first gun there too but for some damn reason they wouldn't take a rental agreement as proof of residency. I'm thinking its because they're a large chain store and scared of liability?

I've had no problems with 3 different purchases at Turner's Reseda. There are a couple of older guys there who used to be at B&B way back when and know their stuff.

Ill never step into a Turners again, My first and last visit where enough after getting slammed around by some old dude and making me look super stupid in front of clients and staff- I asked a very simple question about 2 different cleaners and the guy just stared at me for about 4 seconds total silence, and he goes damn it! I already explained it! I just left the cleaners on the counter turned around and left.. I was humiliated while trying to give them my hard earned money..

it could come up easily. I've mentioned to salesclerks that I prefer featureless rifles over maglocked rifles, and they'll ask why? "because I like to just hit a button to drop the mag and I have large-cap mags that I want to use it so why should I use a maglock just to get an evil feature?"

Never been to a Turners. I've had about 2 not-terrible experiences with gun stores my whole life. Avoid them like the plague.

We have El Cajon Gun Exchange down here in San Diego. What a piece of shet that place is. I tell myself "that's the last time I ever go in there!" about once a year. Every year, the memory fades and I figure it can't be that bad. Oh, it is!

Most of the staff at the Pasadena location are actually nice. There is one old guy by the fishing equipment that is kinda of nosy and one guy behind the gun counter has a attitude on him, I just avoid him and act like he doesn't exist (I get the feeling that he used to be an leo).

I like when Turners employees ***** about the customers. Are some of the complaints valid? Yes but it is part of being in business. When I was supervising employees I often used to tell them it wasn't me or the owner paying their salary or the electricity.

It's the customers. Turners seems to forget this at times.

Local Turners in Norwalk is "fair to good" in service/knowledge. And I don't have to drive all the way to Long Beach where Turners predecessor was, IIRC "Andrews".

I've bought 14 guns from the Fountain Valley store and I will never buy one from them again (unless they are the only place I can find what I want). Some of their people are pretty nice and knowledgeable but some are d!cks. In general, it's been trending away from the nice in the last 12-18 months.
I don't want them to go out of business though cause we need competition so the consumer gets decent deals.

I like to support the smaller shops though.
