...as a trade for a glock 43. wtf guys, wtf.Originally posted by m---------------1Bump... also interested in 1911 for trade -
My range, my rules.
1) Don't point firearms at me or anyone else, & this means the dogs, horses, & cattle.
2) Don't shoot the house or the vehicles (this includes the tractors).
3) Ask before you handle a firearm or use ammo that doesn't belong to you.
4) Steel targets are for pistol calibers only.
5) Don't leave empty brass on the driveway or the patio. It will irritate the wife & her rule is that if she picks up your casings, she will expect a unfired cartridge in return 1 for 1.
6)You can dress how you want. Camo, tactical gear, shorts, flip flops, uniforms, anything that doesn't violate decency laws. If you come up here to shoot dressed like an operator, you damn well better shoot like one or you hear about from the boys. I'll probably be wearing camo shorts, not because I'm shooting, but because I'm a long haired redneck & that's how we dress when it's the summer.
7) Don't knock my beer over. The dogs will drink it & I have no desire to find out if alcoholic beverages will make pit bulls loving or belligerent. Safety nazi's & friends of Bill W. don't need bother chiming in. We might have a couple beers when we shoot, but follow the four rules, & nobody gets stupid (except for the time this heavy equipment operator named Jeff took a shot at a squirrel on a huge oak tree with a 44mag & it ricocheted off of a limb & put a dent in the top of a car), but then he wasn't drinking anyway. I guess some folks are born silly & I reckon he's one of them, & being an operator & all. I know, not a tactical operator like CK is riled up about, but being out here in the country & all this is the closest thing to a good operator story that truly happened here on the compound. Operators are ok, but don't let 'em shoot the squirrels with the big guns. YMMV.-TommyComment

You see this all over youtube, just part of the fun. Some are current or ex law enforcement or military, while others are just teachers and accountants
), but sometimes they just like to dress up... especially with the intention of filming and posting on youtube.

I know, I know, I try set the standard pretty high. Tough act to follow indeed. It's hard to joke 98% of the time and have your posts taken the wrong way almost 100% of the time. Takes almost an acquired skill. It hey it looks like your getting the hang of it. Only 2% of the people saw your humor.

Yeah, Nobody laughed, but nobody got sore, either. Around here, I figure that's a win. Anyway, I reckon I put your thread back on track & saved it from the lock. Now you owe me, CK...;-)I know, I know, I try set the standard pretty high. Tough act to follow indeed. I laughed at this for a bit before the envy took over when I realized I missed having a place to shoot like this.
