I say thank God for government waste. If government is doing bad things, it's only the waste that prevents the harm from being greater.
-Milton Friedman
What kind of government do you guys got here? This is worse than California.

I would think with all those people shooting those hard plastic miniature marbles everywhere people would be falling arse over teacups trying to run/walk.Idk, I usually would say it works, because like you said. It's with in reason and actually being used at the time for cammo to not be seen in many fields and are actually being shot at, at the time. But for these guys. I feel they fall off my go no go guage scale for me. I think i was the 3 lumen $10 rave strobe lights they are all rocking in fully lit scenarios lol
Desert cami in a gret/black scenario... But on their behalf at least they are sliding and actually running for a cause. To not get shot. Where range operators run, well just to run. For playing paintball for 8 years you can tell the noobs and non noobs because noobs there to look cool and get glamor pics for the camera usually spend more time focusing on their knee slides than actually making pointsgetting hits lol
I DON'T

wear those weird camo feet shoe claw things

Now that all the amateur "range warriors" have left their .02, I am going to set this thread straight:
I go to the range in full kit, but I have the creds to back it up. I currently hold the rank 1LT in one of the largest tactical airsoft-sim brigades in the So. Cal area. I earned my rank on hyper-realistic battlefield sims and wear it proudly.
Prior to that, I earned the enlisted rank of Command Sergeant serving in a large scale reenacting combat group, also earning the coveted "Special Warrior" tab.
So next time you civvies are on my range, take a moment to check yourself prior to poking fun at guys who are kitted up. Some of us have been there and done that, and trust me you don't want none of this mayhem.Comment

I was a squad leader on my Junior Woodchucks laser tag team. I know what you mean about the mayhem. Most of these wannabes will never understand. Now that all the amateur "range warriors" have left their .02, I am going to set this thread straight:

That is why most of us simspec-ops folks stick to our own cliques. The quiet air-sim professionals as they say. We run into each other at the Walmart counter buying C02 cartridges and a nod is all it takes to recognize another operator.Comment

In the Sim Operator Community where I live, we've developed a secret signal to identify and acknowledge each other when we're away from the Walmart CO2 supply counter. Here it is, in case you ever find yourself up this way:

Your picture gives yourself away as an amateur. The salute is correct, but you would never use it on the sim-battlefield. The OPFOR would see it as a salute and snipe your officer, creating chaos in your ranks.Comment

The most ridiculous part about your entire post is trying to gain credit by being a 1LT. We all know right then that you obviously know nothingNow that all the amateur "range warriors" have left their .02, I am going to set this thread straight:

Well, I can see how you might think I'm an amateur from that picture. The shirt and tie offer no operator credibility whatsoever. But you should see me on the range and on the sim battlefield in all my tactical operator gear! If you saw me draped in my operator gear, you would have no doubt about my true skills.
Here's a little taste of what I'm talking about:
