Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison
The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850) -
Yes. We are paid very well. That's why we would rather buy our own than steal it. But like I said some just have issues and don't think about what they have to lose.
And as far as the doormat. Lol. I always get a kick outta that. Like it's hidden from anyone seeing it. Lol.Comment

Stealing is not dependent on income level. Have you heard of toxic assets and hedge funds?Comment

One of my UPS packages was delivered by someone driving an M3 (the driver was wearing a suit) LOL. I was wondering if I got an upgrade when I saw the beamer haha.
What floored me once was that not all shipping via fed-ex and UPS goes through a UPS delivery driver. My wife got her laptop delivered by some guy in an old ford AeroStar van without any signage. I chatted with him, he was a nice guy but he told me that UPS and FED-EX farm out small or out of the way deliveries to contractors like him on an on call basis to save money. No there is no oversight for these 3rd party delivery goons. It is marked as delivered as soon as it is passed to the contractor.
That said though I never got fedex or USPS to leave packages in the back or side door when I specified, UPS was spotty depending on the carrier. But I would trust UPS/USPS much more than any FedEx driver. All of my FedEx packages come in as if they went through a drying machine.Last edited by Deranged Corgi; 07-17-2014, 12:26 AM.Comment

I've never had a problem with Fed-Ex, UPS or USPS. I have ordered 3x from Target Sports, 4x from PSA and countless Ebay purchases. I believe the buyers and vendors are at the mercy of the shipper, aside from the occasional shoddy packaging job. Once the vendor sends it off, how is he to blame?Comment

Kudos for Target Sports USA taking care of the customer! I have ordered from them before and will order from them again in the future. I usually order from the lowest price vendor, but will spend a few extra bucks on them if they have what I need.
On a side note... I really don't appreciate the delivery driver asking me what kind of ammo I ordered when he delivers it, so I tell him "50 BMG" so he won't shop my deliveries in the future.Comment

Glad your issue was resolved. This is exactly why there are cameras pointed in all "drop off" locations at my home. These same $200 cameras saved my uncle $1000 in ammo and AR parts (the UPS driver scanned the package as "Shipped" but did not drop off the package. None of the cameras picked up any sort of drop off that day).Comment

A California UPS driver and his alleged accomplice have been arrested and charged with stealing large numbers of goods, including six dozen firearms. Doh! We all know that shipping guns brings risks, and theft is always a possibility. But we generally have faith that those who do our shipping are honest folks, just trying to …Comment
