Stop payment and file a claim, complete bs you cant track something they have to WORK.

Stop giving them a month to do what takes minutes.

contact your CC company and dispute charges end of stories. Your a month out without your initial ammo purchase, how much is your time worth over the savings?

I leave a note on my door that says ok to leave packages with a neighbor who is always there signature required. Since I have done that nothing has gone missing powder/primers/ammo/firearms parts/ marijuana, etc.

and never use your debit card,doesnt carry same rights as a cc.

If it's a VISA Check Card it has the same protection as a VISA Credit Card.

It's on the vendor to make it right. Since they won't just dilute the charge. It costs them $ for something that they should have made right.

I also say dispute the charge w/ cc (especially if it's AmEx) - not your problem - it's FedEx's - let them fight w/ the cc company.

Yeah, no check-mark on on-line form for signature requested - but isn't that the default to avoid this situation? If you talk to Fed-Ex again ask that question - what is the default - signature or no signature - unless given permission up front, Fed-Ex should have an electronic signature of who they delivered to - and the EXACT time it was delivered.

Back when we used to use Fed-Ex, we had two - yes two computers stolen by their drivers (boxes said Dell on them). Work college's husband worked for fed-ex and inquired on the QT - that's how we knew - not sure if the drivers were fired or not.

You've done your due diligence, they ammo company isn't responding - I say mention their name since you've done more than I would have to try to resolve it. And Dispute w/ cc company now rather than later. I bet you that will get FedEx to respond a bit better.

I sell stuff online. I find It strange that they don't require signature for items, over $100. UPS is pretty good about insurance. FEDEX I don't know. Trying to file a claim with USPS for anything is a bad joke.

They will give you every excuse, imaginable. Once they said the guy in charge was out playing golf or something. So in other words las Vegas offers better odds. I use third party insurance through endcia. They actually pay, and yes overall they still make plenty of money off me.

Only few times USPS paid claim, it seemed more like it was person was in good mood, more than anything else. I use USPS because of price. I just never expect refunds for missed date, express shipments or their insurance etc. Price and shipping are otherwise good.

I would go the the CC route. Typically its 30 days to file, from my understanding.

If something hasn't happened in 2 weeks, it never will, from my experience.

Chargeback typically puts some fire under the feet of seller. Otherwise he thinks he can run out the clock. AMEX does offer extra protection.

Ive never had to sign for ammo, I have had FedEx pull the same thing on me, and it was delivered by USPS two days later

Just last week I had some projectiles and a holster shipped to me via USPS, the post-lady did not deliver either and wrote "moved, did not leave forwarding address" - strange because she knows me and I waved to her as she put everyone else's mail in the box

Now-a-day you just can't trust any delivery personnel, be it USPS, FedEx, or UPS. I just had a rifle case ordered from Amazon delivered by the UPS and it looked like someone at the UPS had checked out what's inside my box. The mailing tape were cut (clean cut) and they only taped by one side of the box. I have had a vacation-filled-in part time USPS delivery guy who mistakenly kept my box from which he marked "delivered" in the USPS system.

Very suspect.... The delivery man should be able to recall dropping off a smallish box that weighs about 50lbs.....last week the fedex guy dropped off my 1000 rd box and asked if i ordered dumbells online...

Thankfully my local USPS is fantastic and my UPS regular guy is honest and quick.

"mistakenly" was the word used by the postmaster when I went to track down my package at the post office.

And I like my regular USPS delivery person. Just not the fill-in person and weekend person.
