That's a bunch of bs. First come, first served. Ditch that membership. Never in my have I been told I was at a range too long.

Kicked out of a range?

I'd like to hear an update on this and if it's true, which range it is. To me that's bad form to kick paid members off the range. Understandable to consolidate but to remove entirely? It's not like range memberships are cheap :/Dear ISIS, Texas is not known for their gun free zones.

I'm pretty sure I was in the group of 3 shooting next to you guys when they asked you to leave.
I've always been told there if it gets busy lanes are only good for an hour, member or not (I'm also a member), at the RSO's discretion due to the limited number of lanes currently available.
Shooting a shotgun from the hip at an indoor range doesn't help you blend in either...Comment

Jeez, what would they think of our Calguns C&R monthly shoots? Wandering from bench to bench jaw-jackin' and shooting other peoples guns for 4-5 hours. Some at the club are full, limited members and guests. Sounds like a lousy place to give your money to. Whats the point of a membership?Comment

None of us were shooting a shotgun from the hip and the group next to us were coworkers, a separate group but known coworkers. Did you joke about company X being asked to leave?I'm pretty sure I was in the group of 3 shooting next to you guys when they asked you to leave.

I can't find any documentation starting any time limits but a representative of the range confirmed that during peak hours all patrons, including members, will be limited to one hour.Comment

What were you wearing?
I think this is the range where excelsior is the RO.

We haven't run in to each other at work but I'm a coworker. I was the third person standing back from the group (in the grey jacket) when one of the other members of my group said hello. The shotgun from the hip was told to me by one of the other people in my group since I was on the line shooting when it happened apparently. Perhaps he was mistaken. He said it seemed out of the ordinary for the person doing it because they are known to him as being a seasoned shooter so he wasn't sure whether that person was joking around or being serious about it.None of us were shooting a shotgun from the hip and the group next to us were coworkers, a separate group but known coworkers. Also, one thing they may or may not have mentioned is corporate memberships are handled slightly differently than regular memberships. They've since changed their membership policy to state corporate memberships are only valid Monday - Thursday, however they're grandfathering anyone who had a corporate membership before they changed their rules.Comment

Yep, I think that was us. We are all seasoned shooters and wouldn't think about shooting from the hip at an indoor range. I heard something "interesting" happened shortly after we left, something about teenagers shooting at other targets. Guess I'm glad we left when we did...We haven't run in to each other at work but I'm a coworker. Strange, I didn't hear anything about the teenager stuff although there were some younger people that did come in after you. It seemed like most of them were being supervised by parents (and the RSO was watching them pretty closely). It did die down for a while after that rush when you guys left.Yep, I think that was us. I'll blame them for those couple of fliers I had in my groups...
Part of the problem is it's just a fairly small range. They do have plans to expand in that building from what I've discussed with the owner, but they're the type of people to do it right and not just slap some cinder blocks and plywood down to make more benches.Comment

Originally they assigned me lane 1 before bumping me down to lane 4 since someone was still using the other lane. Perhaps it was some miscommunication between the desk and the RSO. When I got there (during the ceasefire to fix the target carrier) there were 4 groups waiting in the waiting area for lanes to open up. That's why they started enforcing the 1 hour rule.Comment
