So much of this stuff could be avoided if people didn't communicate like dildos.

So point out where in the constitution it says you have to not act like a "dildo", or where acting like a "dildo" is illegal or deserves greater scrutiny. It shouldn't matter to someone who enforces the law.

seriously, these videos are ridiculous. Obviously these people know something is going to happen, because they always have the video rolling! How many people minding their business everyday have the camera rolling?

Here's my € .02

On the one hand, I can respect the gentleman behind the camera for having balls of steal.

On the other hand, I think that gentleman behind the camera broke a very serious rule: "Don't be an *****H0le." I am aware that there is no law against being a dick, but we gun-owners should hold ourselves to higher standards.

We shouldn't be insulting police officers. Especially while we're handling a loaded or unloaded firearm. It's a hard-*** job. They have to deal with people who hate their guts every day, and they know that the badge of "cop killer" is at the top of the prison totem pole.

Cops are the ones we need on our side supporting our efforts.

I'm going to come out as well and state that this situation could have been handled better by both sides.

The man keeps asserting that he didn't point his weapon at him. The rifle is slung down in front of him at the start of the film, I, as an unbiased viewer of this film, cannot tell what condition the rifle was in, whether it was pointed at the officer or not, before the film started. Maybe the officer was right to tell him not to point his weapon at him? Maybe it wasn't. I honestly don't know.

If I were on a jury I would ask to see the police officer's video from his side of this interaction.

This situation could have gone very bad, very fast.

Yep the dude filming shouldn't have been such a douche.
