need help with Boy Scout shooting program in Sacramento

OK Calgunners. I am the shooting sports vice chairman for the Golden Empire Council. I am hoping some of you Calgunners in Sac can help me. I am looking for donations of .22 ammo to put on shooting events in the sacramento area. I am not picky as to brand. I will accept any quantities you can part with. I realize i am basically asking for gold. I did an event a few months ago and used up the last case of my personal stash, and am looking for a way to continue putting on a program for the youth in my area.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Thanks for the replies so far. I usually let them shoot 100 rds per shooter. We have opportunities to meet the Rifle Merit Badge marksmanship requirement and for those that already have the badge we offer an opportunity to shoot at steel reactive targets and we give them a chance to get off the bench and shoot prone/kneeling/standing. My next event will be the second saturday in May. I will drive to Vallejo to pick up ammunition if I have to . I have been working really hard to establish a shooting program outside of the summer camp experience. I have trained quite a few scout leaders to be NRA Instructors and Range Safety Officers. then the ammo crunch hit. I really do appreciate this community and what it does to further the shooting sports.

You can PM me for contact info and my e-mail or to arrange to meet.

Sounds good. If others in the Bay area want to hook up on the 680 corridor between Vallejo and San Ramon, I can collect from others and meet the OP in Vacaville at Center Mass or possibly even the Gun Range in Sac as I have been wanting to shoot at that range too.

I've got two bricks of Rem Thunderbolts for the cause.

Tonyxcom. that would be awesome if you could coordinate with the more easterly of my offers. for those in Roseville and Folsom I will attempt to get to your area as well. please PM me with offers so I can put together some type of schedule. I am doing a BSA shotgun merit badge clinic all weekend and will be out of town next weekend. I usually do Wednesday things as I have that day off but could do an evening run.
