remember though that even ballistic gellitin while being the closest thing to human flesh/body....is still NOT human flesh or body, especially when you account for cavitation on tissue often it is bruised and has trauma but largely shifts around. Cavitation is more likely to cause a bleeding out death over a few hours or days, vs hitting a major blood vessel and bleeding out in 5-6 minutes. (adrenaline is so crazy effective).
-My interpretation is bigger bullet=higher chance of hitting major blood vessels and death faster but not instant.....which is again why it comes down to shot placement. If they keep moving and going for their gun, I keep shooting.
-but sure I would want a bigger bullet, but I still respect the 5.56

I don't know anything about bow hunting and could be totally wrong but it appears to be a slow death. Does the meat taste different when harvested with a bow? Does the adrenalin toughen the meat?
