Froglube nightmare

Wow, just wow. I posted a few simple lines, just my opinion of how this thread reads, and you guys are going crazy on me.

Tell me, who again is it that is way too emotionally invested here? And why?

You also appear to have no idea what "going crazy" means.

I suggest you read up proportion. You have a habit of instantly reaching for hyperbole. I know this is the Internet, but you are really going overboard.

I can't be the only person that has come across this problem... the other day, I went into the safe, pulled out a few pistols that I have not shot for a couple of months. They were all cleaned and lubed with Froglube products. Two 1911s in .40, one in 9mm, one Sig, and one M&P. After pulling them out of the safe, I chamber checked them (cause you never know), and was just confused. The slides felt like they were hydraulic in nature, and the springs seemed almost useless. After disassembling them, I realized that the Froglube used had dried up in the safe and had formed into a weird texture. Has anyone else had this problem? I've never had something sit for this long in the safe without shooting and clean in between, but because of scheduling conflicts, I haven't had the chance to shoot as much as before... back to Jardine's grease and Mobil1 I guess.

Some have had this problem with frog lube. I use Brownell's action lube and Slip 2000 EWL, Militec, Machine Gun Lube, M-pro. Those are pretty good. I've got a jar of Frog Lube I don't use, but it smells good.

EDIT: OH yeah and Fire Clean. Heard great things about it. But you have to follow the directions closely I've heard. I'm going to get some soon.
