You can't debate it on any of the Anti-gun FB pages.

They delete your post and block you within minutes...even if it's a non-confrontational post.

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

      I never like FB.

If you can educate and convert one though, I believe it is worth it. I have changed two of my friends and they are now looking for their first handguns.

Facebook itself is a waste of time. Best to delete it and live life.

Thread-jacking my own thread, but it's a related to the original topic.

Question for all reading this thread: What do we have against background checks on firearms purchases? I personally don't mind it. Am I missing something?

WAY off topic and deserving of a whole new thread.

That being said, because of "shall not be infringed" and the first step to infringement is finding out who has the guns. While a check won't tell them what guns you have the record of your being tun through that system tells them you have guns.

              What say my fellow calgunners?
Yes. Thinly veiled ridicule is your friend. If they go unopposed, those unopinionated will adopt their opinion.

Not to be tin foil-ish. but tie your background checks with the digitized national medical data base and you might rethink things.

                (...and yes, a separate thread).

                Respectfully,
