Hi all, I hope that my search skills were sufficient and that I am not beating a dead horse by starting this thread.
Anyways, I am getting more active in shooting again these days. I am really enjoying it. I am starting to also be more politically involved in general. So here is my question. Given that I cannot afford to join them all, (I can't even afford to shoot as much as I would like.)
Which is the best guns rights advocacy group to join for a CA resident?
From what I found in the searches here it seems that most Calgun members favor the NRA over GOA, while I have seen other opinions elsewhere.
Also, would my money be more effective if I join a CA specific group instead of a national one, and which one of those is recomended. I haven't found much info on CA specific groups by searching here or on google. (possibly because I don't know names of CA specific orgs to research.)
So any input would be greatly appreciated. Either on NRA vs GOA, or National vs State. I just want to make what little I can afford to set aside for a rights advocacy group to count and not just make me feel better.
Thanks, Noah

We have already been talking about guns and gun/range safety, and I am looking forward to our first trip out together. I can still remember my father teaching me like it was yesterday.
for Paladin, you now have another well directed activist to take credit for.
