This isn't a dig on how Oaklander voiced his concern.
As I said earlier if jdberger had not pointed this out to me or if I were not a Calgunner this thread would have been for nothing.
I admit ,now, that we weren't shooting in the most ideal place. And believe me we are far from being stupid individuals. We weren't just shooting willy nilly. We had a hillside for a back stop. We were just shooting across the dirt path. If someone came up to us and said "Hey, we'd appreciate if you didn't shoot here for reason x,y and z." We would have been more than happy to stop. Everyone is happy and the pontential for a mishap would have been averted.
A few things come out of this:
1. You bring attention to the problem. <we didn't think there was one>
2. You explain to them why.
3. You don't alienate them.
