    Will have Wife post em...400 pounds of bang stick goodness!
    TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

I was planning on getting either a plastic, brass or rubber faced hammer to tap the top and bottom of the cylinder face until it released. I tried just pulling as hard as I could and it wouldn't budge.
      Don't twist it when pulling it apart! you can snap the two small frame mounted pins that hold it together. Once apart and done cleaning, apply some RIG grease to the pins to avoid the hassle in the future.

        I hate to admit it but I have the following in my safe unfired,

        Series One Vanguard MOA 30-06
        Marlin 795
        Saiga 12
        Square receiver Mosin

        I keep on telling myself it's because our local range sucks but it's also getting off my A**
        and just going as well.

          I don't remember twisting it I knew there were 2 pins so I just tried pulling straight back. Just bought a rubber/plastic hammer and the barrel assembly is off & cleaned! One thing I forgot to check is the gap from the rear of the cylinder to the back of the frame where the hammer is. Don't remember how big it's suppose to be. Hope I aligned the 'star' right. I put some Tetra gun grease on the cylinder pin thing but didn't put any on the 2 small pins, will do that next time.

            All my guns have been fired. Some not by me though and others haven't been out of the house 15 - 20 years.

                I think the CGs with safe queens are paranoid, maybe rightfully, about posting in a public forum.

                  Fired it once. I know its a Miroku Japan one but it's still absolutely beautiful and sadly the fit and finish is higher quality than a US made one.

                    The nice thing, once you play with it some, is how simple the design really is. I've been Doing Cowboy Action Shooting for the last 18 years and love playing with the Colts!

                      My grandfather's Colt 1911 is the only safe queen I have and that's more for sentimental reasons than anything.

                        I only have one I don't think I'll ever shoot since it's unfired. But since I have a blue one I shoot on a regular basis, I'm not missing anything.
