Here is what the basic membership package looks like: http://capitalgunclub.com/basic-membership/

Not too bad. I'd pay it, if it were available.

I'd go for that if they weren't already "sold out".

Comes out to about $0.25 an hour on the family membership.

Nothing indicates they offer public range use. So an hourly rate may not apply.

I think they do. The above link for the basic membership stated that "no discounted hourly rate". So I'm assuming their still an hourly rate for members.

Anyone opening a gun range in Sac will clean up. No question about it. I can only report that my last two visits to the Gun Room were less than satisfactory, especially when they went off on me for taking my gun off my hip and putting it on the bench in my shooting bay. They actually made me reholster, go outside, and unholster in public before allowing me to come in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Plus, there was a bit of rudeness over the phone from their end.

Anyway... I'm over the whole thing, plus I shoot up here in Yuba City... but I'd be willing to go down to support a new store.

That said, a $1,000 joining fee will probably keep me at my normal spot in the hills for a while. With gas going up and down, the $1k would probably pay for itself in less than a year. But still, that's a lot of coin.
I agree 100%........I prefer outdoor ranges, but it will be interesting to see how The Gun Range pans out.

TGR was answering my facebook questions, and their proposed fee was $15 per hour for non members; I'm thinking that's a bit steep, considering I can go to Cordova Shooting center, and shoot for 3 hours and come out cheaper including gas... but they said it was still in the air.
My AR is 7.62x39, so that if/when we get invaded, I can shoot their ammo back at them!

The AC company has been taking their sweet time, the Steel company made errors in all the steal that we ordered so they had to modify those. So at this point we have had to slow down and wait for those things and others until we could move on. So progress hasnt stopped but it has slowed some. I have included three pictures. I will add some more in a couple of weeks.

I am hesistent to write down an opening data since we wont have FULL control of it. With that being said I will attempt to make an estimated opening date of June 15. Hopefully Ill be able to report later on with news of an earlier opening but we shall see.
                        Are we there yet?

I'm parked out front. No one here. Counters installed, some construction details undone. No signs or info out front. I'm guessing no opening tomorrow?

                            Edited to Add:

I was driving by, saw the previous post on my cell phone and stopped to have a look. Looking through the windows it looks like still waiting for detail work (exposed metal framing in doorways), painting and construction clean up. I'm wondering if they're still waiting for backstop steel for the range? Lights were on but nobody answered a knock on the door. Maybe went out for some lunch.

Oh well. Guess we'll have to wait.

Looks like I'm going to have to practice my Gun Kata moves at a later date.

                              Thanks for the info.

the new place in roseville , so the story goes , have sold 100 of each memberships , first round , basic memberships again will be available according to "josh deaser " (this is an extension of just guns, with a full retail store included ) and from what I have herd it will be private at this point ( dont see how the public excluded will fly just from a revenue point of view ) seems pretty pricey , but I know a few business owners who have signed on as its just another deduction for them anyway ................
