Why would it be COP bashing to state "Since 2007 X number of innocent citizens have been accidentally/mistakenly shot by LEOs. There are 7 million CCW holders and only 800K LEOs, that means you are X times more likely to be mistakenly shot by a LEO than a LEO is to be shot by a CCW holder. Then flash some pictures of cute kids and teens and old people who were mistakenly shot.

I didn't feel any emotion in that clip. I thought it was hilarious. This video at 26:34 gets me.

See here, this is the basis for my belief as you would be making a negative statement about cops in general rather than discussing only specific incidents:

Generalizations -- some, most, all cops [have some quality, do some action] -- are NOT acceptable. They don't make sense; they require the poster to actually KNOW some, most, all cops.

If you have personal knowledge that Officer A and Deputy B and Trooper C all have said/done [something], then you can speak to ONLY Officer A and Deputy B and Trooper C.

If you feel it's useful, you can collect all the incidents by all the LEOs you have ever heard of, and so long as you speak ONLY to the individual incidents, you will be on solid ground here.

            Don't generalize. Stay specific...
Even if the forum owner gave you the OK for this particular purpose, I'm not so sure it would be a good tactic anyway. Our adversaries are the antis, not cops. The antis might be baiting us into doing something like that so that we would look bad in the eyes of the general public.

The video is misleading, the officers were not killed by a concealed weapon but by rifles wielded by the nutcase after he barricaded himself is his mother's house, e.g. allegedly possessing a CCW did not facilitate his criminal activity.

The 2009 Pittsburgh police shootings was a shootout that took place on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 1016 Fairfield Street[1] in the Stanton Heights neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, stemming from an argument over a dog urinating in the house between a mother and her 22-year-old son.[2] At approximately 7:11 a.m. EDT, 22-year-old Richard Poplawski opened fire on two Pittsburgh Police officers responding to a 911 call from Poplawski's mother, who was attempting to get the police officers to remove her son from the home.[2] Three police officers were ultimately confirmed dead, and another two were seriously injured.[3]
According to Pittsburgh Police Chief, Nathan Harper, Poplawski was armed with a semi-automatic AK-47-style rifle and two other guns, protected by a bulletproof vest, and had been lying in wait for the officers.[3] According to police and witnesses, he held police at bay for four hours as the fallen officers were left bleeding nearby, their colleagues unable to reach them. More than 600 rounds were fired by the SWAT teams and Poplawski.

I wonder how many people are killed each year by people with licenses to drive.... or licenses to do doctorly things...

Obviously if you need a license to do something, it is a nefarious activity and should be banned

The VPC has seen the writing on the wall for quite some time, and are going into overdrive when it comes to their anti-LTC rhetoric.

If you want the type of organization they are summed up in one sentence, i'll use one from one of their YouTube videos:

"CCW permit holders don't protect innocent people. They kill them."

This is what we're up against, and they're fighting tooth and nail so that LTC holders are portrayed as murderers.

This isn't VPC 'guns are illegal', it's VPC 'gun users are bad'.

                    Both positions nonsense, of course.

Even when the video is produced by an anti group there are some here who can't help themselves from attacking cops first.

hey! Check out this propaganda VPC video I found!

: yea well what about all those bad cops, all of them! Off with their heads!....Im not anti-cop, thats against the forum rules and if a mod calls me anti cop he is a boot licker....

Perhaps some (or all) of the individuals in the video, feared for their lives. A cornered animal is a cornered animal, it doesn't matter that they lashed out at a protected class of person. But to be fair, I would assume most of these guys backed themselves into said corner...

No. But how can anyone not burst out in laughter when he shoots and then the Hornady guy goes into his infomercial voice and slows down the bullet and animates it.

As a data analyst (my own 2A support aside), it really rubs me the wrong way when people tout statistically insignificant numbers as a reason for sweeping policy change and yet, it seems like that all we legislate for anymore.
