    hi

sorry it took me so long to update everyone about this. i just got an email back which says exactly what the first email said. now i offered to take a hit for some kind of restock fee or whatever but unless opitcsplanet wants to violate the itar aggrement i signed when i ordered the scope there is no way to return the scope to me. now since i only have 4 days to deployment and opticsplanet has just "copy and pasted" the return policy at this point i have to get my credit card company involved.

      Hey 11b,

Brian just brought this to my attention to ask if we can do more. In this case, we can.

PM me your order number, name, email and phone number and I'll see that you get a full refund, regardless of policies or anything else.

I'll be perfectly honest, our customer service people have to deal with a lot of different policies because of our size and the wide range of things we have to deal with, both from a business stand point and a legal stand point. This is one of those situations where the people working with you followed the policy because that's their job. Even if they wanted to give you a refund, they can't do that if a scope shows any signs of use. Don't hate them or the policy for it - we get scopes back often that have been mounted and even zeroed and people claim they've never used them. Since we have to destroy those, we had to get tougher on the policy.

Still, this is a special case, and I can get this fixed.

I'm sorry it got this far - unfortunately I don't check the forums every day myself. If anyone has any problems in the future, PM me with as much detail as possible
