By the way Shot Show was a great time in 2005 I remember stepping aside for Lou Ferrigno..that was one big dude....by the way he was interacting with people, he seemed like a nice guy.

And he's a firearm sportsman at that.

I got approved for a media pass so I'm cleared for still photos. But even then, you are supposed to get permission from the company or vendor of the booth whose products you may be taking pictures of before taking a photo that will be published (print or Internet).

That's common sense, and simply courteous, whether you have a Press Pass or not.

Myself and most of my worker-bees are going (about 8 in all). This will be my first time at a SHOT show.

I'm driving down the Wednesday before the show. Taking a 2 day carbine course from LMS Defense on Thu/Fri. And then I'll be at the show the rest of the week. Yippee!

I'll be there Monday probably. I went in 06, and it was well worth the trouble!

Next time, if anyone in socal horribly needs badges, let me know ahead of time (like in august), and a 'director of janitorial arts' or 'cabin boy' position may open up at the company

My friend and I booked a room at the Bellagio (or was it Venetian? he booked the thing) for around $150 or so.
