Anyone think that Gunny took way, way too long on the last two 10/22 targets?

Watch the slow mo... shooting just to the left constantly over and over and over and over... nobody to spot his hits he just kept missing left. He should have held off to try to get a hit, man I bet that was frustrating.

What I found hilarious is how everyone sucked so bad with the FAL... nobody was good with it, and it's very easy to shoot... it just kicks very bad with that humpback stock on it, so people were probably just flinching on the trigger because of the anticipated recoil. Not a fun gun to shoot without a straight stock on it.

George is still a douchebag. Yeah - he threw the competition so his buddy Chris could win (what would have happened if Gunny won instead?), but all of the things he said throughout the show still shows what a giant fecal-ejecting anus he is. If he was in the final three with Jamie and Jay, you know damned well he would be on his "A" game trying to crush a couple of competitors he had nothing but disdain for (Jamie for being a "faker" and Jay for just continually getting "lucky.")

I was also surprised that they all had difficulty with the FAL too, but to be fair, they were using the carbine version of the FAL, which I know from personal experience kicks like a mule, particularly with that stock. I wound up selling my FAL carbine because it made my right cheekbone look like I'd been in a bar fight. Still, it was a fine gun, just not the right fot for me.

I had an SAR 4800. It was a FINE rifle.
I still kick myself for selling it in the mid-late 90's.

They probably just played the same shot over and over. I highly doubt they filmed every single shot in slow motion.

Doubt it, Gunny looked PISSED about the 10/22... That isn't a hard shot though... gun must have been off a bit for him. Doesn't matter. Chris was totally set to win the show by how wholesome he is... Spending the money to get his kids through college, d'aww... barf.

AFAIK, he hasn't said one way or the other, which is interesting in itself...

I can think of lots of reasons he would NOT confirm, if he DID make it.

No one here has mentioned how 2 of the last 3 guys missed the AR-15 shot at 100 yards. That was pathetic...especially when the "sniper instructor" missed it.
