I had a guy try to tell my friends and I to be careful shooting his circa 1994 9mm ball ammo. He said, in NAM the CIA found out it was being supplied to the viet cong, so they replaced the gunpowder with c4 in one bullet out of a pallet to sabotage the viet cong. I just about **** myself. I turned to my friend and just said really? c4? Last I checked a primer won't detonate c4.

Nice, thx for the info, like I said his general "I'm better than everyone" demeanor did not speak well for his stories. Doesn't say c4 tho

The guy is just eager to impress. You can do as others are suggesting and cut him down to the point he becomes an introvert.

OR

You can offer to take him to the range (where you actually rent guns, no need to tell him what you own). After just one trip his out look will change and you will have a likely PRO GUNNER at work.

People get introduced to gun in two ways mostly. The correct way and then the gang banger way.

The choice you make will depend upon the kind of person you are. Last thing you want to do is make fun of people.
