OK, here's where all the LEO's start with "we don't know all the facts"......Seems to me the DFG Warden didn't know all the facts. He also took a citizen's legal property illegally. He might as well took the guy's wallet and whatever else he wanted. From my personal experience, DFG Wardens think the 4th amendment doesn't apply to them because they have an absolute right to search for game as long as a person has "the means of take" present. Even if you are plinking in an area where people can hunt, be prepared to get hassled by DFG. I hope this DFG Warden, his boss, and all others involved on the LE side get sued and fired.

Confiscating a legal configured firearm incorrectly perceived as an AW under color of Law seems a bit shady. For the very fact he was not arrested.

Little or No Experience To Be In The DFG

Having worked with the DFG for the past +20 years I continue to hear some very disturbing facts from their Academy folks.

It seems that +90% of the current grads NEVER hunted before. +75% never fired a rifle or shotgun before and only .05% had any sort of LE training before the classes.

So just how qualified are they as firearm experts??? They can tell you all about biology and flowers and stuff.

I'm in a battle myself with DFG. They said hunting big game with my silencer was illegal and refuse to provide me with a regulation/PC saying so...I'm on them like a cheap suit. I have a little help from some of the local Manufacturers here.

If I were you, I'd try seeing whats up with some of the CGF guys. If they can't help you, they can point you to someone that can.
