Really sad to see the SFgate comment section on the latest articles about the starbucks UOC debate.

Not a single liberal comment showing any facts, or having any real rational argument.

Just comment after comment'..."gun owners have small peckers, gun owners dont get laid, gun owners are all john wayne yahoos..."

I really cant believe how stupid these people are.....

Can some gun owners get on there and BACK ME UP....im outnumbered like 5v1 right now by a bunch of lames that wont shut up abuot penis size..

Someone should remind them that just about every male in the porn industry probably carries a gun (most illegally) and the evidence is out there for them to see, if they are so convinced about pecker size...and how many times a gun owner gets laid...

"Open Carry" is a euphemism for pathetic white guys who feel oppressed by diversity. Like most bullies, they are actually cowards with a false sense of bravado. If they truly believe in their "cause," they wouldn't scare suburbanites trying to enjoy a cup of coffee, they'd go to West Oakland on a Friday night.

any ex military care to talk some sense into this "ex marine" who posted the following...
When I ride up to these places I ask if any of these "cowboys" really intends to "shoot it out" with the "bad guys" if needs be. They all talk big and macho about their police or military service, as if that is meant to reassure me some how. I spent almost forty years in the service and I don't need a gun to feel like a man. I did my duty and now I leave it to the professionals (police) to protect me. I guess I don't have "issures" that need resolving with a gun. I hope these people don't hurt themselves or anyone else. Too much caffienne will do that to you I guess. Sorry for the spelling errors, I guess I am too worried about getting shot by some "gun rights advocate". CIAO, E vW

last night i got two of these "supporters" to finally admit that the 2nd amendment was important for hunting, home defense, and for having an armed nation that could fend off attack.

while they still called UOC carriers "smakll peckered cowboys" at least i got some common sense knocked into them.

i know 2 people is chicken scratch compared to the masses of sheeple that comment on SFgate, but i feel like i did not waste my time last night.

These are the idiots that support Brady, these are the idiots signing gun control petition. If we can argue with them and show them that total gun bans and their attitude are down right unconstitutional maybe we can start to convert people.

I tried to be as civilized and polite in my sfgate posts, and trying to refrain from calling everyone blanket liberal socialists haha..

I realize your post was only a couple of seconds after mine and not a response, but still...

Thank You Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

And thank you for sharing the joy of firearms with your Liberal friends, that's how it's done, opening one mind at a time. And then they help open other minds.....

^well actually i realized that many of my views are inherently "liberal" for example i support gay right marriage and i am pro choice. I am not pro healthcare but lets not get into that debate. If anything i side more with liberals on broad political views more than conservatives.

HOWEVER, the gun control argument is what really turns me off from liberals.

But i do realize that many SFgate posters arent really liberals, just childish immature children who like to talk more about mens pecker size instead of having a decent reasonable argument...

On this board, I'm one of the flaming liberals (really just a libertarian, but being pro-choice (and anti abortion), anti-war-on-drugs, pro-gay-marriage (and gay rights in general), etc).

But I do love me my EBR's, Glocks, 1911's, revolvers, lever actions, and bolt actions, etc. In fact, heading down to Texas this weekend, and there will be a lot of shooting done.

Also, the OP's Daily KOS link is a great one. I will be re-using that one.
"Ecuador offers the United States $23 million a year in economic aid, an amount similar to what we were receiving under the tariff benefits, with the purpose of providing human rights training that will contribute to avoid violations of people's privacy, that degrade humanity," --Fernando Alvarado

I'm the one who posted that link, not the OP, but thanks for the endorsement.

That link again, read it and share it with gun rights opponents Why Liberals Should Love The Second Amendment

A couple of weekends ago I took a liberal acquaintance who is interested in getting a gun but who had never shot one before to my gun club to introduce him to the sport. Since he had never shot before I wanted to show him the different types of guns and cartridges so he shot my Ruger Single-Six .22LR, Walther PPK/S .380ACP, Colt 1911 .45ACP, Winchester M1 Garand, Winchester M1 Carbine, and Colt AR-15 SP1. He saw that almost every other person shooting at the rifle range was shooting an AR-type rifle. He did very well and I think he had a good time.
                  Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Where ya been, most Libs are pretty nasty people as a rule. Simply watch and listen to the statements on MSNBC for example. Example #2 is drive around the Bay Area and see how many times you are either given the bird or some turd performs some selfish driving maneuver. Whats ironic is they believe conservative are nasty and selfish.
The only thing that is worse than an idiot, is someone who argues with one.

Expecting anything else on SFGate would be like trying to sell Gun Control on Calguns....Not Gonna Happen!

Trying to reason with Anti-gunners? If they used reason, would they be that anti to begin with?

See, this is the kind of hate that will always be a problem between people of different beliefs. Now some liberal will read that and start hating on conservatives, perpetuating this bull****.
