Really sad to see the SFgate comment section on the latest articles about the starbucks UOC debate.

Not a single liberal comment showing any facts, or having any real rational argument.

Just comment after comment'..."gun owners have small peckers, gun owners dont get laid, gun owners are all john wayne yahoos..."


I really cant believe how stupid these people are.....

Can some gun owners get on there and BACK ME UP....im outnumbered like 5v1 right now by a bunch of lames that wont shut up abuot penis size..

yea it is truely frustrating. but i am talking with one or two liberals who claim to own guns, and they seem a litttle more sensible.

but yea the over whelming majority are close minded people.

we need to EDUCATE these people, and show them what i see when i look at california gun owners.

everytime i go to the range i see such a diverse group of people, yet these libs seem to think we are all psycho right wing john waynes.

but yeah i do feel like im preaching to the choir. it helps to have support though, 3 or 4 pro-UOC or anti-gun control comments banded together really look better than 4 posts of "these loons with their small peckers and cowboy fantasies"

Whenever I'm posting in one of those liberal-dominated forums, I like to post a link to this article and tell them all intellectually honest liberals should read it. It's an article posted in a popular liberal blog (Daily Kos) and explains to liberals in terms that they can relate to why they should support the Second Amendment. It's actually a great article that picks apart the usual arguments against the Second Amendment -- it's for the National Guard only, it doesn't protect modern weapons because the Founders never imagined them, etc. If any of them read it they might see the Second Amendment in a new light.

I'm a liberal Democrat. I own handguns. Don't have a pecker. And it's been a couple months since I got laid.

As to who is more closed minded -- liberals or conservatives -- judging solely from this thread and others like it on Calguns, I'd say that label belongs to conservatives.
