Some Walmart stores even have reloading supplies. The past few years, it's just bullets and dies. I did get a few lbs of powder last year though.
Rural King has a better gun and ammo selection. It's like a cross between Walmart and Tractor Supply.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Man, I'm envious. I only get to the range a few times a year. Partly because shooting on a public range at paper sucks.

I remember buying ammo and a Remington 870 at Long's Drugstore in Fairfield, CA. Penneys also sold firearms.

Walmart DID sell ammo in CA when the background check was required. Walmart decided to not provoke the attention and ire of our democrat over lords in Sacramento. Ammo was NOT a very profitable product line for them given special handling, shipping and storage issues so it was easy to drop from a business perspective.

I remember the good ole days when 9mm WWB was $18.97/100 rnds and you could walk out with a shopping cart full of ammo you paid cash for. I found their 7.62/5.56 NATO prices were usually beaten by online sellers selling surplus ammo in bulk.

Yeah, the 9mm, .22 LR, and 12 ga. birdshot prices were often VERY good. .223/5.56, not so much.

Up until a few years ago, after the Walmart shooting, they sold AR 15s here

I honestly remember buying that 100 round bulk pack of WWB for 12.00 a box in around 2006? I want to say the 45 was only 30 a box. Oh well.

Thats pretty funny considering that employee @ 10 bucks an hour. Open carry state, he/she is making their salary LOL

Walmart in So cal where I am located, used to sell firearms. I remember seeing rifles, etc. It was more for sports like hunting and used to be at the fishing supplies section. But I don't recall seeing handguns. But shotguns, etc. Now they don't carry firearms anymore.
