I would assume even the most dedicated TV believing calgunner could figure everything done to stop Covid has been huge failure! Over 2 years of masking,plexiglass,shut downs , distancing, vaccine's has led to more infected than last year .

What has worked and is working today are the free covid treatment centers in Florida, where its open w/o masks, forced vaccines, distancing or other dumb, useless protocols used in democrat states.
I had covid in the beginning and thought I would die, it wouldn't go away . Now I have natural immunity and refuse to compromise my immune system .

Wearing a mask because you believe it is a valid measure to prevent you from catching COVID or preventing you from spreading the virus if you have it one thing and is a reasonable approach to support your belief. Full Stop, no argument as you have the right to choose what to believe.

SARS CoV-2 is a thing now, it will always pose some risk, and they, of all people, are trying to move on but for people who spend much of their day scouting out the next place to relocate the “move on” goalposts.

Last year someone at my work adamantly refused to come in to the office in person citing unspecified health reasons, of course creating more work for people like myself who had to drive farther and incur additional costs for a day care that was actually still open so I could come into the office. This person used unspecified health reasons to jump the vaccine line earlier this year, and the moment they reached two weeks past their second shot they were in the office, but not before going to a baseball game in person that weekend with 10,000+ or however many people. This person walks into my office Monday morning, this is still prior to me being eligible to get the vaccine in LA County, and starts extolling the experience of being able to go out in public again.

I just said, “I need you to get out of my office.”

“Vaccinated” is not synonymous with “enlightened”, “altruistic”, or even “self-aware.”

We won’t move on as a society until the fearful stop answering “how high?” When the gov tells them to jump.

The lack of compliance with calgov’s current mask mandate makes me hopeful that we’re turning a corner with this.

Anyone who wants a vax can get one. Everything should be completely open at this point with no mandates of any kind. Just like any other flu season.
