Back to Angeles Range. Owner Bob is an older fella and its ok with me to wear a mask for few minutes during check in. Barbie working the counter dosnt care about the masks. Nobody wears a mask on the range. No big deal!
I hate the mask as much as a next guy. I was planning on getting fired from work due to mandates and got 3 jobs line up just in case. Guess what I got an exemption. Once a week testing on premisses and company pays for it. It makes a difference when you are producing or just collecting a paycheck.

Pleased you are knowledgeable about masks being useless and FWIW I like your idea of going to a state operated facility and defying the mask mandate. Put me down as one who would show up to test their resolve. (medical treatment excepted )
Currently I do put on the mask, where forced and take it off immediately after entering. Rarely does anyone say anything and I see others doing it too.

If I had a retail business I would post a sign. The democrat party of California is forcing me to make you wear a mask. I cannot force you physically, but I will call their police who have guns and they might shoot you if you do not comply.

I personally think wearing a mask is completely useless. I do have the freedom to wear a mask or not wear a mask. If a place of business has a requirement to wear a mask I can choose to either comply or go somewhere else. Forcing my will and beliefs on others is doing the exact thing most are complaining about, being forced to do something they don't want to do. Most gun shops and ranges are probably doing everything they can just to survive. The gun community is under a microscope so we need to be careful. If ASR requires a mask then either be supportive or move on. My LGS actually has a sign asking that mask be removed before entering. So quitcha bit__in suck it up and deal with it. FWIW, I don't trust the government at all.
