Today is my tenth day . In a environment where the ones who dictate actually operated within the legal guidelines that THEY have created I would be picking up the newest member of the family . But unfortunately my loved one sits in a strange place. Scared without a supportive hand to hold . At least it is not alone because there are certainly others like it that have also been separated from their loved ones . I wonder if I will qualify for the 450,000 dollars considering I have been separated from a loved one and have yet to be reunited . Let's all have a moment of silence for the empty hands and those who have no hands to hold them .

Good observation . I agree just one push of a computer key and I'm sure a certain percentage of buyers would automatically be diverted to the delayed list for no other reason but to stall the taking of possession of a bought and paid for item that provides fun and leisure which some would consider to be therapeutic and good for the soul .there is no coincidence in regards to this debacle.I’m curious if there is any relationship between vaccination status and DROS delays. It’s likely that we are going to see some turmoil when people start losing their jobs and rights for not being vaccinated; a group that the state would rather not be armed any more than necessary. I may sound like a conspiracy nut, but the lack of following the rule of law for the past couple years makes me highly suspicious of any little anomaly.Last edited by Deelayed; 11-08-2021, 9:59 AM.Comment

You have this all backwards. Illegal guns qualify for the $450,000, you have to pay taxes on the legal gun purchases.Today is my tenth day . I'm curious why anyone would ever be curious about that. Actually, never mind, I don't want my head to hurt when I hear the "rationale" for such a suspicion/concern.I’m curious if there is any relationship between vaccination status and DROS delays. I would be less concerned with the government doing something overt in the system to slow down the things cited than some group intent on radical activism getting into the electronic systems and just shutting things down. Its not like government networks are the most secure and given that there are anough working within the government that have proven doing "by all means necessary" things they see as required to attain their goals, how much would it take to bring all processing of what is being discussed to a halt? How long would it take to recover these systems and restore even a fraction of the processing it takes to it to being barely functional; weeks, months, a year or more?
So IMO the government doing something? I doubt it. Some activist government employee or some group deciding that they or it could dramatically affect the entire processing system? Far more likely.
Given how the big box stores operate and more and more dealers are either unwilling or unable to function in the absence of electronic approval systems even a few months of a dysfunctional system would have very long lasting effects.
But this is ripe to happen across many networked approval systems, its the nature of the beast.
Now, about those primers -Let Go of the Status Quo!

Yeah. It is. Not because government isn't looking for any reason to deny gun owners the right to have guns, but because it is crazy to think there is some database of the vaccinated right now, particularly at this early stage of the pandemic, that is somehow tied to the DROS system resulting in seemingly random delays and denials of DROSes for a handful of gun owners here and there. That is nutty whacky nonsense. Not overly tinfoil. For the last two years politicians and bureaucrats have blatantly violated numerous laws and twisted other laws well beyond their intended purpose. Election laws were changed without state legislatures performing their required duties. Lockdowns were initiated based on laws to quarantine sick individuals, not the entire population. Businesses, including gun stores, were closed down with no real justification as to what and wasn’t “essential”. The list of rights violations is almost endless. All of this with zero consequences; absolutely no accountability.
If you were about to enact a questionable emergency rule that would result in millions of people losing their jobs, in addition to limiting their everyday activities using vaccine passports, would you want these people buying guns? Or would you prefer to slow down the approval system and at least add some speed bumps to back door red flag potential threats? Vilifying the irresponsible unvaccinated and gun owners, then restricting their rights would probably work quite well in California.Expert firearms attorney: https://www.rwslaw.com/team/adam-j-richards/

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?Comment

Fringed , far stretched , WAYYYYYY OUT in left field .
