I never understood how someone should be able to tell me what to sell my property for or how someone can think they should tell me how I should spend my money how I please.

Would I pay $2000 for a basic AK? No but let fools buy them and let fools think they will easily sell them. If you didn't do your research that's on you. If you have the funds and just have to have it it's no business of mine what you pay.

Last week I bought 4 boxes of 100 22LR for $8.99 each at Bass Pro in Rocklin. Good on them!

The art of communication is important in sales. A great sales person can sell an uninformed buyer asking price by knowing what buttons to push. Sellers on CG should understand there are all types of people on here who range from national competitors to references from their friends/gun stores. I was a gun store reference and to this day they are my favorite gun store and do most of my business with them, even if it's just an out of state transfer. (most of the time).

The CG marketplace is where true free market plays out. To expect a uniform standard of negotiating is not reasonable. But it's up to you to play your game to make a sale just like it's for the seller to play theirs.

Buyers on CG should understand that sellers on here are usually more informed and know what they have, it's an enthusiasts site with a search feature for keywords. After enough rock kicking they'll catch on.

I got a PM's from a member that joined last September, has no posts or other activity asking me if I wanted to buy some mags that I asked about in one of my posts. The PM's were weeks apart like they just troll here periodically. Not the first one like that. I told them to pound sand!

Maybe we should limit people without a certain number of posts before we allow PM's and other activities.

They are either scammers or trying to get us to do something illegal.

I guess i've been lucky. Have dealt with quite a few new members in the past year and all communications/deals have been smooth and easy.

As far as pricing goes, meh... don't like it? Don't buy it. If it doesn't sell, it was priced too high. If it sells quickly, it was priced too low.

Nobody here is being forced or coerced into making purchases. Participation is completely voluntary.

Only contributors should be allowed to use the marketplace. That would eliminate so much of this foolishness. I would ban half of those people in there. It's so cluttered with nonsense now it's just crazy.
