I'd rather do something easier, like counting craters on the moon. Lol

Spreadsheet before there were PC's and the past 21 years I weigh it too. I'm not on a slab and have no garage. I doubt weight distribution is a major concern, but I monitor it never the less.

              I'm 70.
I know I have some. That's good enough.

Just did an inventory of my store room this past Sunday. I hadn't done this for several years so time to update it. Most of what I counted was reloading supplies but I did count .22 also. Discovered several cases I totally forgot about buying, some are dated, others not. As far as reloading supplies, only powder and primers down there. Bullets and brass in the garage, I'll need to count those too.

Store room is very cool year-round so no worries about degradation. I have other ammo down there so I need to complete the inventory. This year I put it on a spreadsheet so I can keep track better.

I don't shoot as often as I used to so I have plenty of everything but it is good to know what I have anyway (not going to divulge quantities of anything here).

No, I figured I had enough when the metal cabinet I store it in started to bow and the door wouldn’t shut right....

I also keep a spreadsheet which tracks purchase history, types, amounts paid, expanded, current inventory and calibers. If you have an insurance policy which covers such things, you best have something like this. Which I do.

I just open the cabinets with ammo...see a lot of boxes...GTG.

Truth is, I have more than I can ever shoot...so counting it is a waste of time.

I counted every day until I discovered my 9mm breeding behind my back. I was so disgusted I haven't counted since.
