I would assume it DOES apply to you until you can verify otherwise. They're in possession of your property. I would want to make sure it didn't get included in some lot sale of everything on the workbench.

Man, that sucks . How much is the gun worth? Unless an attorney decides to help you pro bono, you may be reaching a point of diminishing returns if you have to pay him full rate.

Any chance you can do the paperwork yourself? Any chance you have prepaid legal firearm services like USCCA, etc? They may offer legal help at a reduced rate.

What happened when you called the numbers on that arf.com thread?

I reached out to my ffl and he said he would glance at the paperwork and possibly show it to his lawyer on my behalf as a favor.

Well today I received an email from remington saying that "repair complete" and got a tracking number.

I sent in a remington 1187 police with a canted sight. So "actually" repaired or not ill be happy to get it back.

Thanks all for listening to me. I will update when it arrives.

Dang it BP......me too. This annual pass is burning a hole in my pocket.

            Nice, that is good news.

Does Remington as a brand still exist, and will they continue to produce guns?

Why would they fire all the employees if they are going to keep making guns? They will just have to hire and train new people...

Anyway, I am glad your gun is coming home!

I think they do still exist as a company. It sounds like they are restructuring the manufacturing process. From what I've read they don't like the 200 year old 4 story manufacturering process. Im hoping that they keep it in Illion and bring the people back once they have a plan, but who knows.

When I spoke to a very high up round hill group executive he said that they still have tons of product on the shelves ready to ship once their ffl license clears.

Hopefully that means rehiring at least a large percentage of the workers back once their ffl comes in.

I know we all have strong pro/anti union opinions so let's keep that out of my thread please.

                Yes, it's not only guns.

Sent an old audiophile amp out for repair months ago, still not back.

Well it says it will be delivered today. In the email they stated "repair complete".

Any takers on whether "it will actually be fixed", "not fixed", or "a completely different gun"? Im joking on the last one.....i hope. Somehow they send me someone else's gun that was in for repair....haha.

Years ago I sent in a S&W m&p rifle to the factory. They mailed it back to me without ever letting me know it was coming. My wife came home and found it on the doorstep. We about sh!+ a brick. I called S&W and told them. How bad would that have been if we had a package thief.

I had/have a lot of fun with my Handi-Rifles, really miss the Add-A-Barrel program.

Is that the BEFORE or AFTER picture?

OP, whatever they send back, can’t be worse than what you sent them lol. I have no idea how that got past QA.

Well I opened it up. Not repaired. No action taken. Im thankful to have it back, but having it gone for months for nothing is a bummer.

I'm not sure why the pictures came out sideways.

Almost looks like they attempted to straighten it with heat. It looks better, but i think that is my imagination playing tricks.

I compared the before and after pictures and it appears nothing was touched.

Your mspaint drawing abilities are poor.
There is a feature in mspaint to snap a straight line between two points.
