I was pulling all nighters in college. PLC training during the summer at Quantico.

At 20 something one is considered an adult.

No explanation why he was where he was, or why he was stopped. Just that there was no reason for him to be there.

Likely he was at a boogaloo event where someone took note of him, guns, car and license plate # and reported to law enforcement who were tracking his movements.

I think the guns & fully stoked tac vest were probably visible, so police could initiate a lawful search, if only to check serial #s.

I also think that they may have more information about his activities than has been released so far. More than the posts on his phone.

Remember that, after the AF sgt. Carillo ambushed and killed LEOs, boogaloo membership has become a priority for police agencies to keep track of activities.

He was visiting family and friends and at the time returning back to CA. I seriously doubt he was ever at a boogaloo event he's not what I'd consider far right. Until a month before he spent his time in Los Angeles there's no suspicious activity. His texts were just goofs and being obnoxious for shock value.

That doesn't change the fact that they do stupid things. This guy I can say can be a little obnoxious and arrogant but he's not joining a militia. He was on his way to Berkeley and I believe wanted to be a lawyer.

You realize that "boogaloo" is a meme/running joke and not an actual movement, right? Anyone who thinks it is a formal movement has been watching too much CNN.

EVERY car has something that will alert a K9. Those K9s are very well trained and good at what they do.

He consents to a search that produces an unregistered SBR and has racist propaganda on his phone. Sounds like an idiot. Hope he has plenty of lawyer money, he's gonna need it!

That and his plate was entered into a database and a patrol car with a plate reader picked him up.

I really don't think so but you never know. He was accepted to UCB and on the Marine Corps dime I have no idea what kind of militia thing he would get into on spur of the moment. He had all his guns because he had no place else to keep them. He didn't have a new place in San Francisco yet but he should have had them locked in something. Doesn't matter the SBR is going to cost him. It already has.
