Any word on you COE?Just got my FFL03, still waiting (and waiting...) for my COE. To do it right really means spending about a hundred hours studying the nuances of all the applicable federal and state laws. Basically, you can buy c&r long guns from anyone, you can sell c&r long guns to other FFLs, and you can get ammo shipped to your door. There are seveal exceptions and some additions, but that's my summary of it. If that sounds interesting to you go for it. Otherwise I'd say it's a waste of time.
No UPS Store for firearms, but there's a UPS center near you in Compton. I'm not sure about their rules for ammo.Comment

I got the same notification, however, I don't recall it asking for my ID copy when I submitted the initial application.
I also get an error when I click on my current COE that is in progress.
Am I missing something?Comment

I had got the same message when applying.
When you log on and click on COE transactions on the top left corner. Then click on "COE number" in your transaction (it'll say NONE). Scroll down to where you see "File upload section". There you can upload your DL.
Hope this helps.Comment

The instructions are poor at best. They don't actually tell say that you must upload a copy of your CA DL when you select that option.
Like you and many others here, I got the notice that my application was "incomplete".sigpic
1. Treat all guns as if loaded (even when you know they aren't).
2. Never point the muzzle at anything you aren't willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
4. Know your target and what is beyond it (avoid all collateral damage).

Unfortunately, I get an error message when I click on the "[NONE]" link, so I am not able to upload my DL. I have reported the error, but who knows how long that will take to get resolved.Comment
