Gun store's gotta make money too for their time to pay for the workers, brick and mortar, taxes... If they laser bore sight and are willing to make adjustments for you then it's probably worth it.

some sight jobs are easy and some are a pain. Some aftermarket glock sights do require fitting which is time and time is money.

          • That tiny screw won't take a lot of torque, so be careful not to over-tighten it.
          • Use a small drop of Blue Loctite on the screw.

Thanks for the tips as I do tend to over tighten things...

If you called around, someone else will do it for a way cheaper. in fact I'm sure there's a member on here that's done it many times that would be more than happy to help out.

Sounds about right for Los Angeles... I also noticed that they do stippling on polymer frames I don’t even wanna know how much they charge for that...

I am in the LA area and will do the front for you. I've always just used a small jewelers type hammer to adjust my rear sights.

Sending the slide to Glock an option. That is how I would go about it if I were to replace just the sights and don't have a sight pusher.

Patience, good prep, right tools will aid in a smooth job. Have a small fine cut pillar file in hand just in case

That's the going-rate in my AO - probably the same in MOST places.
