Scars in general are above my pay grade. But I've always thought that it was crazy that they're so mismatched. Maybe it's my OCD. But it really bugs me. I've never held one let alone shot one so I'm guessing there is something more to it. I own colt m4s that have rough trigger guards and loose fitting upper to lower fit and I cherish them so I'd venture to guess it is in similar reasoning.

Should I just pull the trigger on the black to get the rifle......then cerakote as a last resort? I know this ****ing COVID isn't gonna help anything so

              Thanks
I personally think black looks better. These color schemes come and go but black will always be the classic. Every time I get a colored gun to mix it up, I regret not going with simple black.

Anyone care for a used one for $2750?

You’ll still need to send it to audiphil or EBR works for CA compliance.

Shouldn't be too hard to find if you're relatively patient.

I have the FDE17 & BLK16. They've both been 100% reliable for thousands of rounds with excellent accuracy for what it is. Definitely my favorite guns, the action is very smooth and the recoil impulse is very nice.

I bought some of these since I have MIADs on my rifles. They are definitely a remake and not an actual EM fin as I have one of those to compare it to.

They work exactly like the EM ones but they are more of a gloss black vs the matte black of the Exile Machine ones.

The seller told me he bought a ton of EM fins before he stopped selling them but comparing the two they are not exactly the same.

Well after looking at the various grips posted here and being dissatisfied with my modified AR grip with fin, I decided to order the Rifle gear fin wrap for the stock A2 SCAR grip.

Reasoning I like the stock grip and I can add or remove the fin easily, the MP Magpul with added fin adaption is really nice but at over twice the price I decided to save some money...SCARS in California are a money pit.

Put a Boar grip on mine. Looks awkward but is actually very comfortable & natural feeling

For what it's worth, I have scar 16 and 17 both in fde, when you start using them fde shows carbon all over, black hides it well.

Can probably get a Kydex wrap around those, Solar Tactical makes wraps for certain grips, I recall a vendor on Calguns does as well.

I have a PMM Magpul Miad with Exile Machine backfin on my SCAR 16 currently, swapping it out for a regular grip soon though since I got an Ironside Arms aluminum receiver, and one of the benefits of it is that they take AR-15 grips.

I went with this. Pricey, but I liked the look of the ACR-E stock. Pictures are a bit misleading because the CA compliant one doesn't fold or telescope once set.

those magpul scar grips are very cool. I'll grab one for sure
