Very little... However, when you order online, the receiving FFL can charge an additional fee to facilitate the transfers. I have heard that some LGS charges as high as $100. One of the LGS close to me charges $65 for online transfers.
Surprising that you are saying this - you have an iTrader rating of "6" and been a member since 2013.
Against the rules for an FFL. They can be reported, etc.

No, we're talking 2 different animals. A shop is limited by law to $10 plus DROS for a PPT. With a PPT, both the seller and the buyer must be physically present in the shop.
If you buy a gun on line and have it shipped in, then the shop can charge you what ever they want plus DROS, since that is not a PPT.sigpic

I didn't really think about it to be honest, I have only bought guns online not face to face, my iTrader is from buying and selling mags and stuff not FFL items. I did notice that my favorite LGS charges a lot for online orders. I guess I was confusing online transfers with PPTs, I've never done a PPT but I do remember that they are cheaper to do. So they make ten bucks on a PPT, each one takes a while, even if they did PPTs all day it would be hard to break even.Very little... Now I don't feel so guilty because they still made some money from my online orders, and I also buy ammo or other stuff whenever I go.Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

Correct. And that is why some of us, especially for the neighborhood LGS, we buy something extra to "support" them... It is NOT their fault that they can't sell "Unsafe" firearms to the non-Active LE people like some us...I didn't really think about it to be honest, I have only bought guns online not face to face, my iTrader is from buying and selling mags and stuff not FFL items. That said, as I posted prior to this - an FFL that refuses a PPT can actually be reported. A penalty is forfeiture of the license...

If the guys don’t have anything to sell me when my last PPT DROS clears, I hope they either like whiskey or let me buy them lunch. If you never leave your first childhood, they'll never know when you've entered your second.Comment
