I don't know but had two Camry's, one Accord, and a Sienna van breakdown on me...

My 95 Camaro gave me 100k of trouble free mileage before I sold it... Never went back to Toyotas or Hondas...

Oh and I had a Glock 19 Gen II for 20 years and traded it for a Sig P229, to me it was easier to shoot the Sig, better trigger and heavier weight made it less snappy...

I do like the reliability, super durable finish and ease of maintenance of the Glock but it's unnatural feeling to shoot it. I prefer my new XD Tactical 9mm over the Glock too...

I dunno. They’re the only semi autos I still own after owning lots of others. 100% reliability, total ease of maintenance, accuracy, weatherproof, lightweight...I’ve liked other types of guns like 1911’s. They’re just not practical for everyday carry. I hate SA/DA guns, having one consistent trigger pull is essential for good shooting. Probably the only thing that could tempt me from glocks is if other striker fired guns like the M&P, Sig 320/365 and H&K V9Sk ever become roster available again. It seems hell will freeze over first

I don't own any Glocks because I don't like their looks or feel.

Meh. I don't particularly care for the ergonomics. They are brutally ugly, the trigger is crap, the stock sights are crap.

That said, I do own two, both long slides. They go bang every time.

What is wrong with Glocks? According to this guy, nothing.

I have a G17 that I purchased just about 2 years ago. It is all stock, except for Dawson FO sights. It's had 9,800 rounds through it, and has been dead nuts reliable.

Sure, it's not pretty, nor fancy: it's utilitarian. It was designed to be used.

Would I buy another Glock? Probably not, simply because I like shooting different guns.

There is nothing wrong with a Glock. They go bang every time you need them to go bang. They just don't feel good in my particular hand. They seem to have awkward bumps and edges that do not let me shoot them well. So, the problem with Glocks is me, not the gun.

I'm guessing that you might love your 1911 though?
