My first gun was glock. Then purchased many more. Then I tried all different brands of guns and realized glocks are hyped up plastic guns. I sold all and not regret 1 bit. My current favs are CZs, Berettas, HKs, and custom 1911s

shot a glock, i thought it was broken. the trigger pull seemed endless before it fired. Shot a 1911, it was heavenly. bought a 1911.

That's why I only have one. But I use it as my nightstand gun and primary HD gun. I have many other pistols I could use, but the Glock is my choice for that role.

Soooo, you are ashamed to be seen with your G-lock out in public?

I would not own a G-lock, even if one was given to me. In years past I have bought raffle tickets listing G-locks as prizes, and one of my 1st questions was - "can I trade it in on another pistol, if I win"

Ashamed? Na, but I wouldn't want y'all to think it was the best I could do.

The main reason it's my HD gun instead of my Sig or 1911's is that if I ever had to USE it, the cops would take it away, and I would be out 500 bucks, not triple that.

And Lord help you if you use an off roster gun to defend your family. California LEO ain't giving that back.

More Glocks are sold than any other type of handgun, by a lot. More Glocks are sold then many different makes of firearms combined.

                  What’s wrong with them...apparently nothing.

They are plastic they usually crack into pieces after a few rounds. They are meant to be disposable. I love mine!

This is the absolute truth. I know it because I worked at Bullseye Sport in Riverside for 3 months. I sold several dozen Blocks-err Glocks and I will tell you right now. Glock has admitted that there is a design flaw in them and they have also admitted that they will NOT ever fix that flaw. It is not worth it to them to waste their time on it.

Now with that said, why do people like to shoot guns? Because of the thrill right? Because it is cool to make a 36K PSI explosion in your hands and send a piece of lead downrange and into something and hopefully get a cool reaction from whatever gets hit... If it was not thrilling, would we all do still do it as much as we do? Probably not.

But, I can attest that I have personally witnessed the design flaw first hand and I am aware of the problem that people sometimes complain about.

What is the design flaw you are wondering? It is simple, it is what sets Glocks apart from all other guns out there, well, most other guns anyways. Everytime you pull the trigger with a round in the chamber, the gun fires...

Do you really want to win the lottery everytime you play? Do you really want to win at the casinos everytime you gamble? Do you really want to always win and not know what it feels like to lose sometimes? It would become boring wouldn't it? That is why folks sell their Glocks... They are just bored of winning and they want something that keeps them on their feet.

The Glocks are so popular I may have to buy one just to get it over with.
