Not trying to nitpick, but how do consignments work then? Forgive my ignorance, I am the one doing the buying nearly every time and the paperwork is the same on my end.

Some FFLs will not require the seller to come back - exactly for the reason you suggest.

Consignments are done with a DROS WORKSHEET. Some FFLs will use the original DROS from a non-consignment PPT as a substitute WORKSHEET if it is needed.

This is very FFL-specific and only a FFL who is very comfortable will do this. Most will require the seller to come back, even though it is not specifically required.

Anyhow this new order to stay at home is going to F-up a ton of transfers and pickups.

Could a pawn shop be considered a financial institution? They would fall under the exemption. Banks won't take take my gold tooth so I can buy tp or firearm.

My ten days ends on Saturday but, the lock down starts Friday. The lockdown will last until at least April 19th. With all the ranges closed, I guess it does not really matter anyway. Everyday seems to get stranger.

Turner's sent out e-mail that they will deliver firearms that have already started DROS.

Hopefully, most other gun shops will be following their example.

Got an email from turners. Apparently they are still going to allow pickups if you dros’d before today. They will call and schedule a time for you to pick up.

Turner's will be contacting customers and scheduling appointments for those who have guns ready to be picked up. Their email said you can also buy ammo at that time but I can't imagine them having much of a selection left.

I was there on Tuesday for a PPA, owner said no way he's closing the shop unless he gets a court order. Cuz he's sure his business is essential to local LEO.
