My church has a mixture of CCW holders and LEO on our team. We carry radios and position ourselves around the campus. We do trainings and debriefs.

the real issue is the civil repercussions - im sure if someone's family member could make a case they'd be suing you, the church, the parking valet, whomever they could
From what I heard the parishioners were trained by a local deputy sheriff that came in and developed a response plan for just such an event. It should be the model in every house of worship, school etc.

I think it's better in our particular situation to have a group of like minded folks who can legally carry weapons than to have a defined "security team".

I approve of this ^^^ message

Keep dropping these church mass shooters and you watch church mass shootings cease to exist!

Once mass shooters understand that they WILL be fired upon by church security, and/or church goers for that matter - why attempt mass shootings where people are armed and shoot back!

Exactly. And if you happen to end up stopping a massacre in an otherwise "gun free zone," I'm sure no one would complain about it.

I'm not so sure of that. At least in California.

Only an matter of time that the Overlords in CA require metal detectors in gathering places of more than a certain number of people. Think courthouse clearance process for collective activities...

The State of Kalifornia is the biggest threat to Churches in this state. Even more than the rare case of a church shooter. They are in the process of trying to justify outlawing pastors from speaking up against the Sodomites.

California Assemblyman Evan Low is pushing a resolution in the state Assembly Judiciary Committee that's aimed at telling religious leaders in California what they should preach from their pulpits.

It is a wicked sin and God specifically tells us to stand against it. He hates it so much, he sent fire and brimstone at one time. This state is so evil.

                              Who gives an ish?

If anyone ever finds out i was carrying, it will he because fire and noise were coming out of my pistol.

That means i was up ish creek and needed to defend myself. At that point, officer, do what youve gotta do. Ill likely hire a pr firm and its going to suck to charge me.
