I think the OP stated intention to see if he can qualify for a Arizona CCW is a good first step. If he gets one little bolster his argument for California CCW and back before I got my California CCW my out-of-state CCW's gave me a great impetus to travel and see the rest of the country.

So when do you move from criminal to law abiding? After paying a fine? Community service? Jail? Prison? Graduate degree? Honorable discharge?



I know a guy. He has a criminal history. He's has a CCW (in CA, and two other states), and holds an active TS clearance in Fed Govt.

Law abiding citizens with criminal history...ARE walking the streets.

We as a nation have the most incarcerated persons per capita in the world.

Make it illegal, and turn those who wouldn’t otherwise be into criminals.

I live in Las Vegas now, and regularly see what are ostensibly gangsters carrying openly.
It is legal here, and I certainly don’t hear of nearly the gang style shootings that plague heavily metered CCW or No Open Carry cities/states such as L.A, or Chicago, Or Baltimore, Or a host of others.

Guess who gangsters don’t shoot at? Those who can shoot back.

I will take an everybody can carry reality far sooner than a nobody can carry reality (except those who choose to break the law.)

Not in San Bernardino, but I had a dui seven years before I got my CCW. They questioned me about it, I think they will definitely looks into it. Mine was one and done, since you have multiple it may play more of a role. Good luck and thank you for turning your life around.
