Never show guns to someone you do not know. You never know if the other girl might someday accuse you or your daughter of threatening her. If she can identify a couple of the weapons you lose everything on a complaint. Why set you daughter up. Meet the parents first, see where they stand, and if you hear any objections then do not do it. My daughters always had friends over male and female and they knew I had rifles on a two story wall. My daughters were used to being around weapons but I took mine off the wall when the laws changed. I do not show anyone anything anymore even the antique weapons are legal. be very careful

I take my sons friends shooting. All my friends know I own guns. His doctor his school his scout troop his civil air patrol cadets and leaders his music school all know he shoots and owns guns. Not a big deal here.

          Make it easy on yourself.

Just take pictures of your & your guns and pass them around for a little

Why not? Guns are legal. I make a point of never acting like there’s something wrong with owning guns.

No way. Never. My kid and my wife know not to discuss anything we have in the house with anyone.

I've taken my friends' kids shooting, but only when the parents were there. There is no way I would ever show one of my daughter's friends any of my guns without a parent present - one accusation of "he pointed a gun at me" and I'd be screwed the rest of my life - no thanks! Even if that weren't to happen, it's a liability I'm not willing to take on.

Nope. Too much risk with strangers. More so with kids.

Yeah I’m terrified of people finding out that I legally own a legal object. They might stick a red flag on my front door then I go jail and them take muh guns.

i used to take many of my sons friends with us to the range

i knew the parents but would get their permission first - never had one parent say no

one friend who went with us quite often is the son of a LACo Sheriff's deputy - before retiring he drove the bus that picks up and drops off between the courts and the county jail

pretty good guy too - i was talking to him one day about how difficult of a time i was having getting a two-tone Px4 (off roster) and he offered to buy one and sale it to me at cost

i appreciated the offer but declined - as much as i wanted one at the time this was when a lot of heat was on LE for buying and selling firearms - didn't want him getting caught up in any of that - it wasn't something that he normally did

sometimes we'd have my son and a group of 3 or 4 of his buddies for the outing - one thing they ALL had in common, they loved shooting the AR15 - as far as my handguns most of them liked my GP100, good ole revolver

Short answer is no. With a few exceptions.
