Would you show your guns to your kid's friends?

Not your biceps, but your firearms.
Hypothetically, your preteen (10-12) daughter has a friend over, and your daughter asks to show firearms to her friend. What would you do?

I haven't done this yet, but I'm planning to tell my daughter not to tell anyone that we have firearms and not to ask to see firearms when nonfamily is over.

If she forgets and ask while her friend is over, I would just say, "Not now sweetie".

Not some rando kid, but I have actually taken my son's friend shooting with us (after getting a written permission slip from the parents)

          No!

Unless you know the parents VERY well, not even worth thinking about.

Think teenage girl battles and red flags for you.

If I knew that the kid's parents supported 2A, I would offer that too, but some parents would freak out.

              Nope.
Not unless I know the parents, both of them...and I know they either shoot, own guns or are comfortable with guns and me.

Zero chance any discussions or show and tell occurs unless there are adult conversations first and that there is a plan of why the guns are even coming out.

If the shoes were on the other foot and my daughter went to her friend who had guns, I wouldn't like it if they showed their guns. Who knows how safely they handle their guns?! I would like to be present when my daughter is handling any firearms.

I don't even show my guns to family...

No way! That's how you get red flagged!

                        Nope.

Not unless the kids parents were there and I was showing them a firearm for a reason and they didn't mind her seeing it, OR we were all shooting together.

In today's world this can be problematic before one even realizes. Back in the day, most folks kept firearms displayed in beautiful glass-door cabinets in prominent places within their homes; not anymore for most. With thefts, etc, it has been hush-hush, and now that complete hysteria has taken root in many young adult snowflakes, the mere sight of firearms triggers all sorts of malarkey. As for my kid's friends, the usual answer was NO, and no knowledge was shared. When they became teens, after getting to know them a bit, and with approving parents, a few were brought out to the club for a safety lesson.
                          Never caused any problems.

They saw it on my hip. Never was an issue.
If they had questions I would answer honestly.
I would also ask how their parents felt about firearms. If their parents had questions, I or my Wife (LEO & gun hobbyist) would answer honestly.
