      To the rest of you, I know you're trying to be funny but this could be pretty big deal.

      You acknowledge that "this could be a pretty big deal" and then get mad when people make jokes about it.
      Several people told you what you should do, yet you waited, and waited, and didn't act like it was a big deal. I.E. going to the police in the AM, not calling them immediately.

      What if there were kids at that school waiting for an opportunity to get guns and saw that kids snapchat, and while you were going to the police the next morning you hear that there's an active shooter at the school.

      It's hard to take you seriously when you sat around with something this serious.
      How did you lose your hands?
      I was a puppeteer, doing a show as 2 dogs. The ATF shot them.

        Now lets say that police get involved with this kid who is described as a dirt bag.
        A few things could happen;

        #1 the kid could get a police record which might keep him from an Ivy League school!

        #2 something like this could keep the kid from attending OCS or even enlisting in one of our armed forces.

        #3 He could go to jail or prison and that would stop in from finishing high School, which would not only hurt his chances to make lots of money. It would deprive the public school of about $ 16,000 per year.

        for more really good reasons why police should not be involved, see the PROMISE program and or Chicago educator Robert Runcie who with Obama is the mastermind of this great program.

        Oh as an aside when the public schools do not involve police they get 10s of millions of fed tax dollars as an incentive !
        everybody wins !

        I honestly cannot tell if you think it is the school's responsibility, or agree that the school cannot do anything about it.

          Without a name do I just tell the cops "some kid" is trying to sell guns. How would that go anywhere? I have to start with a name and I don't need any resources to get it from my daughter.
          Jeeze. You have time at work to chat on Calguns but you don't have time to address a potentially dangerous situation potentially involving your daughter? Sheesh.
