I was at a high stakes poker game with a LGS owner.
His national distributor claims that they had shipped 500,000+ to the DPRK by Thursday. Then said He unto them...
"and he that hath no 1911 designed by my servant John Moses Browning,
let him sell his garment and buy one."
And they said, "Lord, behold, here are two Glocks."
And He said unto them, "Meh, it's a good start."

Me too. Couple of pairs of shoes from one vendor and some pants from another. Both delayed. No inclimate weather.

The number of different models of civilian firearms is big. The vast majority were designed for 10+ magazine capacity. Then there is the fun options.
I have no idea how many 10+ magazines will enter Cali under this ruling but you could almost hear the sucking sound nationwide as inventories were drained.
Will be curious to see if/how it impacts economic numbers."The Right Of The People To

#Retailers X #MAGAzine models X Inventory # per model == total shipped.
Total numbers shipped comes down to how many MAGAzines those folks had on hand to ship. Does any of these online retailers really have 1/2 million MAGAzines in their warehouses at any given time? 100K ?? I dunno....those seem like big inventory numbers to me....

Lets' just say, a lot were purchased, and most of that money left California. Just knowing that, makes me happy.

Do I place the latest FUD from the gun department at Sportman's Warehouse in Milpitas here - ? A few hours ago, I was told by the Assistant Manager, a Kevin L, that the DOJ has told him that they are requesting the delivery services to stop packages containing magazines to their destinations. I said Benitez said "buy" not "possess", but he may have been trying to convince people to only buy magazines thru their store front. My comments regarding having until 5 pm today to order plus 10 magazines via internet retailers were not appreciated at this location.
The DOJ can request all they want, but a legal purchase - a "buy" - should be allowed to go thru without interference - at least until 5 pm today.
Or am I wrong?Comment

Agreed. But the logistical problem is that CA vendors by and large simply don't stock standard mags because there's a limited market for them here. I know the CA vendors I checked online either had 0 stock (didn't show up in a search) or were on backorder. And I wasn't looking for anything exotic or over the top, just the standard mags that come with Glocks, etc everywhere.I'm glad to give money to the people who go through all the hassle of trying to run a LGS in this state with all the hardship they go through from the state.
Some of them are my friends. They're the ones who are the reason I can buy ammo or actually handle a firearm before I buy or who handle the idiotic paperwork when I order firearms from out of state.
I really appreciate those who stuck their neck out a little bit on this and risked getting stuck with inventory due to a stay.California Native

Probably already mentioned, but imagine how many actual magazines are in common use NOW including parts kits from the past. If 4 million is an accurate number for magazines sold, it wouldn't surprise me that another 10 million are NOW in common use. If these figures are close, it's hard for the AG to tell us they aren't in common use as of NOW!!!

Agreed. And that's an unknown number. I know a guy that knows a guy who lives down the street from a guy who took this opportunity to assemble XXX parts kits acquired earlier.Probably already mentioned, but imagine how many actual magazines are in common use NOW including parts kits from the past.
