Ordered a bunch from Prepper, Jestice, and RTG. Covered a lot of my collection including a few drums.

Hopefully things go well! Big win here, and Judge Benny's quote is now written in stone in my sig line.

Prepper Gun Shop just announced on reddit that they’re selling to California right now! Hurry because they’re selling out of pmags extremely fast. Just had to edit my cart twice and ended up with 5 30 round window pmags because the other were sold out and 3 17 round Glock mags to start.

Prepper still has better prices but are getting hugged to death.

The owner of Preppers will be able to retire after fulfilling tonight's orders.

Damn you all weren't kidding. I was literally placing things in my cart and then having it show up as "out of stock" by the time I refreshed/kept shopping (it didn't help that the website was as slow as molasses).

I keep forgetting:
1. That there are over 4 million gun owners in California.
2. That a lot of them are on CalGuns.
3. And that they're notorious cheapskates who will jump on any deal/opportunity. Why, just watch us go nuts over $3 off eBay.

Looks like Jestice Arms is also having issues with server traffic.

Stuff is also selling out fast here, e.g. Lancer 30-round FDE mags went from "in stock" to "out of stock" from the time I started my shopping to the time I tried to check out.

I don't think you're fully understanding of the difference between the ban on possession under Penal Code section 32310 and the liability to civil seizure under section 32390.

The Preliminary Injunction issued by Judge Benitez on June 29, 2017 only applied to PC 32310(c) and (d). It did not apply to PC 32390.

If you are aware of a second, or different, Preliminary Injunction issued in the case, then please cite it. I am only aware of the June 29 Preliminary Injunction.

It's a significant point, and one that probably now is more significant due to today's decision. In today's decision, Judge Benitez explains in the dicta of his decision how PC 32390 fails to meet constitutional standards, but in the holding portion of the decision, he only invalidates PC 32310. That strikes me as being rather strange (and I suspect the reason may be in the way the case was pled by the plaintiffs - I'd like to hear from our JD's on that point) that he did not also invalidate PC 32390 in his holding.

I hope the buyers and sellers pay attention to this.

You think all those business that are shipping would do that if there was any question? Have you seen what the State has done to those companies in the past for so much as shipping a rebuild kit?

I think it's pretty safe for the time being. The issue is when it all changes again, and then the waiting game begins.

Spent an hour last night unblocking all my mags. Now I need it find some M&P9 17 round mags. Given that this will (likely) be stayed Monday or Tuesday, I may have to make a quick trip to Reno to pick them up at Scheels.

Now that I think about it, even if this lasts only two days, the number of legally acquired LCMs in the state will have increased by an order of magnitude. Just think about the impact to enforcement of 32310(a) should 32310(c) be overturned. Benitez has almost guaranteed an all or nothing decision at the CA9 level which gives it a lot more teeth when appealed to SCOTUS.

I can just see repair kits being assembled furiously and drill bits speeding through mag rivets all across CA right now. Kids are missing dinner because dads are in the garage working on mags.
