And how long before then enact handgun & long gun registration, so that they can make this ‘more’ enforceable? Total crap...

Where are you seeing that? I don't think that banning private party sales, makes it illegal for a NV resident to buy a longun in AZ? Or was there something in the bill I missed?

GCA68 requires all residents of states to comply with the laws of the transferee's state of residence.

If i read the NV law correctly, NV residents must now conduct all (some oddball exceptions like 03ffl) transfers through a NV FFL. This means:

FFL cannot sell a long gun or shotgun to a NV resident visiting here in AZ without sending the long gun to a NV FFL.

An AZ resident cannot sell a long gun or shotgun to a NV resident via PPT.

The above rules apply to all states but I picked AZ since it affects me.

I would be interested to see how NFA stuff is now handled. Seems a NV resident can no longer PPT an NFA item with another NV resident if all firearms transactions must go through a NV FFL.

You CAN'T claim that it's ALL Californians causing this. It's simple POPULATION. As they population grows, so will the call for gun control.
No, this move is being promoted by the liberal media, liberal politicians and the liberal education establishment. If they would report those times when a firearm was used successfully in self defense people would be more informed to make an accurate opinion on the issue.

ATF changed the 4473 and NICs years ago to allow for PPT in free states. This law has been in the planning stage nationwide for at least 3 years if I remember the change correctly.

The PPT fee has been at the discretion of the FFL.
